Lightwing – The Future of Avi­a­tion Lightwing AG stands as one of the two air­craft man­u­fac­tur­ers in Switzer­land that have received a Pro­duc­tion Organ­i­sa­tion Approval (POA) cer­ti­fi­ca­tion. Dri­ven by a shared vision to intro­duce a hydro­gen-pow­ered small air­craft into the skies, a col­lab­o­ra­tion was forged with ETH Zurich under the project name “CELL­SIUS H2”. With­in the frame­work of an ETH focus project, a team com­pris­ing future mechan­i­cal and elec­tri­cal engi­neers is ded­i­cat­ed to advanc­ing an exist­ing fuel cell sys­tem, enabling the com­plete inte­gra­tion of a hydro­gen propul­sion sys­tem into the Lightwing AC4. In this ven­ture, the 7‑member team at Lightwing AG active­ly sup­ports the project as a part­ner, con­tribut­ing cus­tomized air­craft com­po­nents along­side struc­tur­al and aero­dy­nam­ic enhancements.
