Hotel Hohenzollern

Hotel Hohenzollern – Frankfurt. Haus Hohenzollern (nowadays Hotel Hotelzollern) in Frankfurt was built in 1910 and served as a hotel. It underwent a process of revitalization and refurbishment and reopened its doors as a modern office building – beautifully wrapped in a historic and carefully restored façade.

I created five main illustrations as well as a patterns for the marketing documents and website of the building. They consist of different scenes conjuring the feeling and lifestyle of the roaring twenties. The style of the drawings, with its dark and monochromatic colors, as well as simplified figures, are thought of as tribute to artists from this specific era of time, such as Tamara de Lempicka.
